Enclosed Carport Room
This was originally a 1 car Carport from the Fireplace Room.
The previous owners were in the process of converting it to a master bedroom.
The 2 walls were enclosed, insulation added and 2 brand new closets added thats completed. Both Closets = Sheet rock finish, dual clothes rods, new 6 panel white doors with silver door knobs and hardware, and a 3 way hall light in between.
I myself value the garage storage space and makes a great workshop for what I may do, since it has a concrete floor. Plus it makes a fantastic mudroom from the garden, outdoor gear prep area and lake toy storage. Particularly, I've been using the fireplace room as a master bedroom & entertaining space with the carport room as a game room. Have a make shift kitchenette & mini fridge to accompany the summer deck living and long hours of grilling at sunset and dinner under the stars :)
And since this is a blog site, I feel obligated to say a few more personal words...
I've grown to love this little house. It has all that I need. In the hot late summer months, when the sun can be brutal, grilling dinner on the shady front porch is welcomed. Which means coffee in the mornings on the back deck, and even though its not lake front, you can see the nearby fog lift from the lake water and watch it roll across the yard in the mornings, and breathe it in when it surrounds you. Spring brings beautiful storms, until it turns evil. Well, there is a walk in crawl space under the house, with 2 electric lights/outlets and part cement floor. Pretty great storm shelter! I keep some water & supplies down there, so then I'm all set if the occasion should arise.
